AGM Meeting


It’s come around again, it’s almost AGM time.

The committee has fixed the date of the meeting as Tuesday the 23rd of June at 7 for 7.30.

It’s your club, so come and tell us what is going well for you, what isn’t going well for you, and what you want from it for the future. All constructive suggestions are welcome.

All committee positions are up for re-election, and a nomination form is attached so if you feel like having a go at one of them, all you need is a proposer and a seconder who both need to be full members of the club. Please send any completed nomination forms to Sharon on secretary@brixhamarchers.co.uk, or pass them on by hand. Please send any agenda items to the same address. Nominations and agenda items need to be received by the 15th June to be included. Also, please let Sharon know if you can’t make it to the meeting.

During the evening, there will also be the annual vote for the John Haines trophy at the AGM for the person who has acted in the way best becoming an archer throughout the year.

  • Secretary
  • Child Protection officer
  • Field Archery officer
  • Trophies Officer
  • Tournaments Organiser
  • Webmaster and Publicity
  • Equipment Officer
  • Records Officer
  • Catering Officer



Over the last few months some committee members have been covering more than one role so it would be good to spread the load amongst new people, and to bring fresh ideas into the club.

A provisional agenda will be circulated shortly before the meeting.
Do come and contribute your ideas to the running of the club.
